	<Abstract>Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The "three pillars" of sustainable development are the economy, society, and the environment. People, their environments, and their economic systems are inextricably linked, and this is true across disciplines. On May 12, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a special economic package of Rs 20 Lakh crore with the goal of making India self-reliant and independent against the tough competition in the global markets and to help empower the poor migrant laborer's who have been adversely affected by COVID-19. He named this initiative "Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan" (Self-reliant India Movement) with Social Work Practice towards Sustainable Development .Objectives of the Paper are To Understand Social Work and Sustainable Development and to know Social Work Practice for Atmanirbhar Bharat towards Sustainable Development. The aims of the paper have been accomplished, and the paper itself has been crafted in light of the findings that were obtained. It relied on secondary sources such as books, periodicals, and websites, among other types of media, to compile its information. Throughout the entirety of this paper, the descriptive method was utilised for the study on Social Work Practice for Atmanirbhar Bharat towards Sustainable Development.</Abstract>
