Abstract

Polygonum barbatum, belongs to family Polygonaceae, is used in traditional system of medicine for healing various diseases. This study includes morphological, microscopic and physic-chemical investigations of the Polygonum barbatum. The results of present study used to ascertain the originality of the drugs prepared from the whole plant samples of P. barbatum.
