Abstract

In this paper synthesis, spectral and antibacterial studies of Cobalt (II) complexes with pyrimidine derivates have been reported. Elemental analysis, infrared, electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibility studies have been used for characterisation. Antimicrobial activities of these pyrimidine derivates and its complexes have also been described. These complexes show UV bands in region about 11376 cm-1 to 26315 cm-1 and tentative assignment 4T1g(F)&
