Abstract

Densities, visocities and ultrasonic velocities have been measured in the binary mixture containing heterocyclic aromatic compound and 2-methylphenol over the entire range of composition at different temperatures T=303.15K, 308.15K, 313.15K and 318.15K. Using these measured values, various excess thermodynamic parameters like excess adiabatic compressibility ( βE ) , excess intermolecular free length (LEf), excess acoustic impedance (ZE) and excess ultrasonic velocicities (UE) have been calculated for the mixture. The observed variations can be helpful for the study the molecular interactions and functionality.
